Shop Local

Do you have a locally owned store or restaurant that you would hate to see go away?

If you do, please consider joining the the 3/50 project!

The 3/50 project is a national campaign designed to promote shopping and eating local.  The premise is to encourage consumers to spend at least $50 a month at 3 local businesses.

If half the employed U.S. population spent $50 each month in independently owned businesses, their purchases would generate more than $42.6 billion in revenue.

For every $100 spent in an independently owned business $68 returns to the local economy through taxes, payroll, and other expenditures.  If you spend that in a national chain, only $43 stays here.

Pick 3.  Spend 50.
Save your local economy.
